For as long as I can remember, people have always made the joke that if you get a spider in your home, the only option you have is to burn it down. Well, it's about time that now we can finally live out this totally rational and definitely not extreme reaction to a few eight legged freaks. Kill it With Fire is the upcoming title from tinyBuild and Casey Donnellan games that puts you in control of a spider exterminator. An exterminator who is going to do whatever it takes to make sure these pesky critters get gone for good. But, if you find yourself unable to contain the joy of squishing these buggies, get your hands on this Ignition demo that is absolutely free to play, and check the game out for yourself. Or, keep reading, because that's exactly what I did!

The Ignition demo drops you into the first couple of levels, giving you a quick feel for what the full game will unleash on you. At first, you'll start off in a small apartment, and once you've cleared that out you'll have an even larger apartment that needs your attention. Inside you'll find a clipboard that serves as your objective list, but it's also your first weapon against the spiders! These guys are hiding all over the place, and they'll go down in one or two hits so you'll have to be quick to make sure they quit their creepy crawling.

As you work through your objectives, you'll gain access to different areas of the level you're in, such as locked doors or drawers. For the most part, these typically contain more weapons for you to use on your bug hunt, but in the case where you open an entirely new room you'll obviously have more spiders to deal with. The weapons can get comically intense too, starting you off with a clipboard then eventually giving you access to a lighter and some hairspray for some good, torching fun. There's even a small arsenal of guns including revolvers and shotguns just so you can make sure they're dead.

I had a lot of fun with the demo, and was extremely upset when it only ended after the second level. Kill it With Fire : Ignition was all sorts of crazy and fun and I absolutely can't wait for the full release to drop this summer!
