Anybody who's anybody knows Tetris. For me, it was a key and infuriating part of me growing up, I never thought a series of blocks could cause so much stress. Now, though, puzzles are a huge love of mine, even when they cause that stress. Even as a kid it expanded outside of gaming, I would steal my mom's crossword puzzle books and try to figure out how to do all of the puzzles. 

As far as Tetris goes, it's untouchable in it's original form. But, it's a formula that can be tweaked and manipulated to introduce incredible new ideas. TENS! is one of the newest titles to draw inspiration from Tetris and combine it with elements of Sudoku, with the aesthetic of dice, and it looks amazing. 

Featuring an adventure mode, boss battles, and local multiplayer, the goal of the game is to take the dice provided to you and drop them on the grid of other dice in order to create lines totaling up to ten. So it'll be a bit more involved than just filling the lines to capacity. 

From the images and trailer available, it looks to be a lot more than just simply adding to ten repeatedly. Some of the boards look to have special spaces on them that cause different effects. Some of the symbols you can see are a little flame, some arrows, and what looks like a vortex (maybe?), causing me to believe that these spaces can shift where you place dice on the board or get rid of them completely. 

TENS! looks absolutely exciting to play and I'm more than ready for it. Check out the screenshots and watch the trailer below. Will you be playing TENS! when it launches on the Switch?
